Sawmill

Our company uses the modern-integrated and high-powered equipment Kpafter for the sawmill.

The lumber production lines have already been thoroughly thought out and improved on the design stage.

Kpafter provides:

• High efficiency and productivity of the sawmill;
• Quality timber-sawing without the dependency on features and properties of the material;
• Cutting down of waste and production defects;

Due to the high level of automation, the sawmill lines do not require constant monitoring. In other words, only minimal human assistance is required in the production process.

The technical features of the sawmill lines.

The modern models of the sawmill lines constructively consist of the following sections:

• Roundwood sorting;
• Equipment for loading logs- the overpass for the logs with uncoupling and piece delivery.
• Logs line that goes straight to the sawing;
• Debarking round wood;
• Sawmill line with several modules: sawing logs; edging, where round wood is sawn into lumber; and more.;
• Finished product sorting line (manual or automatic); and
• Waste disposal system, which then proceeds to pellet production

The general flow of the line is as follows. The material is passed to the loading equipment. Next, it is transported, along the conveyor, to the debarking machine for the removal of the bark and the surface layer of the wood. From the conveyor system, the log goes to the so-called first-row equipment, where it is sawn into a beam after the diameter of the workpiece is calculated. Further processing is based on the need of obtaining lumber with specific parameters. The modern model of the machine can easily accommodate 70 to 130 logs per hour during the process, which allows us to pile up to 200 cubic meters of finished lumber per shift.

The entire process, from setting the log supply for sawing to sorting the finished product, takes 60 seconds. Moreover, these high-quality lumbers are also exported.
